The Patch,26.09.11.
Female Field Grasshopper.
Male Scorpion Fly.
Male Common Darter.
A few hours around Worlaby Carrs this morning produced very few surprises apart from a nice juvenile Whinchat watched sallying for insects from the strip of set-asideto the north east of the car park.The is my second record of the year for the patch with 1,also a juv.,on the 14th of August.Other sightings included at least 16 Common Buzzard,2 Hobby,5 Marsh Harrier and 8 Kestrel.A nice few hours.
