A few hours to spare this aft,saw Dave and myself visiting the Patch at Worlaby, with the best bird being a single Eurasian White-fronted Goose watched flying over the fields down towards the river. This is my second record of the species for the patch. Also seen in the unusually mild conditions this afternoon were the expected Short-eared Owls, with 15 being recorded for the second time this month. The birds never showed at close range, keeping well clear of the expectant crowd and only show closely when all the visitors have gone. Also seen today were 4 Marsh Harrier(Adult male,2 juv's and adult female),50 Goldfinch,70 Fieldfare and 5 Common Buzzard.A nice few hours.
